HOW WE WORK
We follow the guidance we give.
An AI governance practice should be held to its own standard. These are the commitments we make to every organization we work with.
Our commitments
- Your approval first. We do not use AI tools on your materials without your agreement.
- Minimum necessary data. We ask only for what the work requires. We do not need personal information about the people you serve, and we ask that you not share it.
- No sensitive information in unapproved tools. Protected, confidential, health, student, employee, donor and client information stays out of AI tools that have not been approved for it.
- Human review. A person reviews every material deliverable before it reaches you.
- Transparency. If AI helped draft or analyze part of your deliverable, we tell you.
- Lines we do not cross. We do not build or advise on deceptive automation, surveillance misuse, discriminatory uses, high-stakes automated decisions about people, or academic-cheating services.
- Honest limits. We provide education and operational guidance. When a question needs legal, privacy, cybersecurity or technical expertise, we say so and point you to qualified professionals.
